Man Arrested Following Drunk Driving Incident In Waukesha: Police

WAUKESHA, WI—A man was arrested for operating under the influence after he was reported for suspicious behavior Wednesday morning.

Waukesha Police were called to the 1800 block of Silvernail Road for a suspicious person.

A man in his 30s came from a white car with the hood open and approached the woman who called police and tried to get her to come to his car, according to the police log.

When she told him to get help inside a gas station he refused and said he wanted her help, the police log said.

The woman's husband drove up to the location and the man was still there and was dumping beer out the car window, the log said.

The man was speeding on the wrong side of Silvernail Road and eventually parked on the corner of Woodridge and University, the log said.

He was later arrested by police, according to the Waukesha Police Department.
