Marijuana Growing Operation Uncovered in Waukesha Basement
The man who police say is responsible told them he grows and smokes to drug to alleviate back pain.

Police responding to a domestic disturbance on Madison Street instead found a marijuana-growing operation in the basement and another 300 grams in mason jars.
Kevin Noe admitted to building the basement growing operation because he was looking for an alternative to pain pills to deal with back pain, according to a criminal complaint. He was charged with three felonies, including a second offense of possession with intent to deliver THC.
According to the complaint, an officer was called to the home on March 9 because of a report of a domestic disturbance. As the officer looked around the residence, he saw drug paraphernalia and could smell marijuana.

In the basement, however, he found even more — a growing area about 7 feet tall, 4 feet wide and 8 feet long, with a ventilation and air purification system.
Noe told police he smoked about an ounce every two weeks, and grew the drugs only for personal use.
