More Vaccines Given Than Total Virus Cases In Waukesha County
As of Wednesday, 43,752 doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered to Waukesha County residents.
WAUKESHA COUNTY, WI—Waukesha County has reached a milestone in its vaccination efforts.
As of Wednesday, more doses of the coronavirus vaccine have been administered to residents than have been documented as infected with the virus, according to a news release.
“We are still early in the vaccination process, but we should recognize our successes as they occur,” Waukesha County Executive Paul Farrow said.

As of Wednesday, 43,752 doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered to Waukesha County residents. 33,815 of the doses were administered as a resident’s first shot of the vaccine. 9,919 doses were administered as second shots. 18 doses were considered invalid.
The total number of COVID-19 cases confirmed in Waukesha County throughout the pandemic is 39,376 cases.
