WAUKESHA, WI — The family of Olive, a female Rottweiler who went missing in late June in Waukesha, was hoping to find their beloved pet safe and sound.

Olive was last seen near Apache Pass and Cedar Creek Drive on June 27. The family described Olive as having short black and brown fur. Olive was wearing a green vest and a pink collar when she was last seen.

After a lengthy search including help from Professional Pet Trackers, Olive's family said their puppy was found deceased. According to a post made on the Facebook group Bring Olive Home, the search for Olive was called off on Friday, and news of her death followed shortly after on the same day.
