What mentor taught about success: I know this sounds cliche, but my husband is my mentor. I am learned a lot from him, and most importantly, how to be a better person and coach of my own to our children. He has always reminded all of us to #StandTall, stand together and NEVER give up.

What mentor taught about dealing with failure: Troy has taught me that failure doesn’t exist, not if you give it your all. There is no shame in trying, even if you don’t succeed. He taught me ways to handle different situations, for when succeeding and not. To be humble, how to handle defeat, how to go forward, and most importantly....how to try again.

Best advice from mentor: Stand up for what you believe in.....even if you’re standing alone.
