WAUKESHA, WI—Here are a few Waukesha Police Department logs from the week of June 6.

Friday

A woman called police to report an intoxicated driver on Summit Avenue. The caller could smell alcohol on him at the gas station. The woman said the older man was all over the road after he left but not into oncoming traffic. The man was stopped by officers and was not found to be impaired. The driver said the woman randomly approached him in the gas station and he thought she was impaired, the log said.

Thursday

Police were called for a disorderly call at Planet Fitness. 1510 E. Main St. A man came in to sign up for membership and tried to pay with cash. The caller told him they are a cashless facility and he became irate. The caller said he was yelling and told her he hoped she died and walked out.

The staff didn't want a complaint but wanted him warned not to come back or he will be arrested. The log said the man was advised on his behavior and moved along.

Wednesday

A caller reported a suspicious person in the 3000 block of River Valley Road. A middle-aged man with a dog walked up to the caller and her children and was asking information about her children.

At one point the man touched the head of her daughter, the daughter began crying and the man then sat down on the bench next to the mother. He also went over to the caller's son and began speaking with him, the log said.

The caller said a burgundy car parked behind her as the man was walking up and a female sat in the car which was turned off.

The caller said the man was asking very personal questions about her and her children and began to make her feel uncomfortable.

At one point he touched her daughter, who began to cry and still did not leave just moved farther over. Eventually she left with her kids. The caller was told to call police if that ever happens again to make contact with him and to get information on him. She was also advised extra patrols would be placed on the park , the log said.

Saturday

It was reported a man was trying to shoot carp in the Fox River with a bow and arrow in the area of Riverfront Street and North Barstow Street. Police explained the city ordinances, the log said.

Sunday

A person called police to report a suspicious person in the 400 block of Richard Street. Someone knocked on the caller's front door and left a mattress there. The caller had no idea why someone would do this. The mattress was moved to the dumpster, the log said.
