Rue 21 To Close Five Of Its Nine Wisconsin Store, Waukesha Store Included
The teen clothing store chain is closing 400 stores around the country.

WAUKESHA, WI — Teen clothing retailer Rue 21 is the latest in a string of retail chains to announce closings recently.
The chain is reported to be filing for bankruptcy according to a Milwaukee Business Journal report Monday, and will close five of its nine Wisconsin locations. Rue 21 is closing 400 of its 1,200 stores nationwide.
Area stores that will be closing include those at the Midtown Center in Milwaukee, Germantown Plaza III in Germantown, The Shoppes at Fox River in Waukesha, Tanger Outlet Center in Lake Geneva, and the Corporate Center in West Bend.
