Run The Trailbreaker Marathon This Saturday In Waukesha: Updated

The run offers 5K, 10K, half marathon, and full marathon options through city streets and parks and trails

WAUKESHA, WI - It's your last chance to sign up for the Run the Trailbreaker 2017 marathon, which will hold its 25th annual run Saturday, April 1, to raise money for the Park Foundation of Waukesha for enhancement of city parks, trails, recreation programs and the urban forest.

Options for the run include 5K, 10K, half marathon (16 miles), and marathon (26 miles), and include running through city streets and sidewalks, as well as trails and parks, including the Glacial Drumlin and Ice Age trails. The 10K option was newly added this year.

The Trailbreaker has raised more than $150,000 over the years for improvement of the Parks, Recreation, and Forestry Department.

All races begin and end in near the Schuetze Recreation Center. Registration is $40-$70. To commemorate the 25th silver anniversary of the run, each participant (excluding 5K runners) will receive an anniversary race medal. For information and registration, visit www.runthetrailbreaker.com.
