Safway and Brand Energy Merger will Maintain Headquarters in Atlanta

Waukesha company Safway intends to maintain a presence in Waukesha despite merger

WAUKESHA - After announcing their merger with Georgia-based Brand Energy and Infrastructure Services last week, Waukesha-based Safway announced today that the company will be headquartered in Atlanta upon completion of the merger later this year.

According to the BizTimes, Safway still intends to maintain a strong presence in Waukesha and Safway CEO and president Bill Hayes will retain his role at the new combined company. Brand Energy chairman/CEO Paul Wood will hold the title of senior advisor and chairman emeritus.

Safway has been in business since 1936, with more than 115 locations in the U.S. and Canada. The company employs more than 10,000 people, 100 of which are in currently at the Waukesha location, and offers equipment and expertise in scaffolding, insulation, fireproof, and coatings. The combined firm is expected to generate about $5 billion in revenue annually.
