Stuffed Animals Sale To Benefit Waukesha K-9 Program

There are two locations to purchase the stuffed K-9 animals.

WAUKESHA, WI— K-9 stuffed animals are available for sale again and proceeds will benefit the Waukesha Police Department’s K-9 Program.

The stuffed animals are being sold from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. at two locations: the City of Waukesha Annex lobby, located at 130 Delafield Street or at Pet Supplies Plus of Brookfield, located at 18610 West Bluemound Road.

The toys all cost $20 each and the choices are: Emma, Arko, or Ryker, the three K-9s the police department currently has

The K-9 began in 2021 and is funded through financial and in-kind donations.

About The Dogs

K-9 Emma is a female Dutch Shepherd Patrol K-9, trained in searches, tracking, suspect apprehension and handler protection.

The dog was donated by Emma Loves Dogs, a foundation honoring the life of Emma Mertens.

K-9 Arko is a male Belgian Malinois, trained in searches, tracking, suspect apprehension and handler protection. He was given to the department by a donor.

K-9 Ryker is a male Black Lab who is trained to search for missing endangered people such as missing children or missing elderly people. K-9 Ryker is also trained in electronics detection.

Money raised through the sales will be used to help buy things for the K-9 Unit like specialized training and equipment, treats and toys.
