Summit Ave. Re-Opens To Traffic

Residents who live and work along Summit Ave. got some welcome news Tuesday after workers re-opened the street to traffic.

WAUKESHA, WI — Residents who live and work along Summit Ave. got some welcome news Tuesday after workers re-opened the street to traffic.

The City of Waukesha replaced and upgraded underground utilities from Greenmeadow Dr. to N. Grandview Blvd. Also, as part of this project, the asphalt pavement along Summit Avenue was resurfaced from N. University Dr. to Greenmeadow Dr.

The scope of work for this project along Summit Ave. included upgrading water mains, installing large-diameter storm sewer installation, and pavement reconstruction and resurfacing.

The sanitary sewer was also rehabilitated via lining, and most sanitary sewer laterals were replaced.
