Brian Engelking, Waukesha transit manager, said they have been fortunate in the contractor that operates its service, TransDev, it has been able to keep almost a complete roster of drivers despite retirements, etc.

"The Route 9 will serve the Waukesha County Fair. It does a short deviation from its normal routing to serve the Fair. We will have promotions and the schedule for the Fair service up on our website after the 4th of July," Engelking said.

Gluege added there are options throughout Waukesha besides the bus.

All-day vehicle parking is $5 on a space-available basis. Three large parking areas are all accessed from Northview Road. If you need to leave the grounds and wish to return, a wristband is needed for re-entry to the Fair—go to the Fair Office (located in the Arena) to receive a wristband. Parking is not included in re-entry. Free motorcycle parking all five days of the fair. Sponsored by Hupy and Abraham S.C.

Other transportation to the fair includes:

"We are excited to have 2021 come together," she said.

The Waukesha County Fair is known for its line up of entertainment, rides, special events, livestock exhibits and shows, must-have fair foodies, amazing vendor offerings – from both near and far.

"Here's to a year of moving forward, appreciating the hard work to overcome with immense preparation, embracing adversity, and rising up in 2021 to safely come back together again," a previous release said.
