A Tribute To The Musical Greats In Waukesha

WAUKESHA, WI— A free concert series to hear your favorite tunes is back in Waukesha. The City of Waukesha Parks, Recreation & Forestry Department announced the line up for Tribute Tuesday.

Come and enjoy all your favorite songs as the city pays tribute to some legendary musicians such as Billy Joel and Rolling Stones.

Here is the schedule of events for the rest of June to September:

  • June 29, 2021: Cover Fire - A ten-person rock band with the 132nd Army Band of the Wisconsin National Guard.
  • July 13, 2021: 52nd Street - Music of Billy Joel.
  • August 10, 2021: Shattered, A Rolling Stones Tribute Band.
  • September 14, 2021: The Neverly Brothers - A Rock 'n Roll Tribute.

The concerts are held at Les Paul Performance Center in Cutler Park, 321 Wisconsin Ave. Concessions open at 5:30 p.m. and concerts take place 7: p.m. to 9 p.m.

Can't make a show on Tuesday? There are other opportunities to hear live music in Waukesha.

Waukesha's live band extravaganza, Friday Night Live, kicks off in June and ends on Sept. 3 with a lineup of bands at area establishments.

Friday Night Live is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. in downtown Waukesha. Over the course of the 12-week event, Friday Night Live hosts 9 stages of entertainment, over 70 musicians and entertainers, and dozens of downtown businesses are open to offering food, candies, drinks, artwork, and much more.
