WAUKESHA, WI—When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented and changing times.

Relationship to nominee: He is my grandson
Reason for recognition: He saved a young man’s life in Port Washington. The young man was drowning and Ben jumped into the turbulent waters and saves his life. Ben worked for 2 summers as a lifeguard, so he had the necessary skills. It was indeed a very heroic act.
