Watch Video Of Wisconsin Tornado Funnel Cloud

Strong storms swept through Wisconsin Wednesday, causing a lone tornado funnel cloud to form. One eyewitness captured this video:

WAUKESHA COUNTY, WI — Strong storms caused minor damage Wednesday night, and one storm observer caught a tornado funnel cloud on video.

According to reports, a line of storms and strong winds caused a small shed and a barn to be damaged in the area . Weather officials say there was a path of damage about one-and-a-half miles long. No injuries were reported.

According to a Journal Sentinel report, the funnel cloud was spotted in Washington County near Waukesha County just before 5 p.m. near the Richfield area.

The National Weather Service in Milwaukee/Sullivan wis conducting a survey of the southern Washington County area on Thursday. Radar and spotter reports confirmed a likely tornado touchdown in the area between Monches in far northern Waukesha County to the Hubertus area.

Minor structural damage and tree damage was reported in the vicinity.

The circulation measured on radar was about 1,300 ft above the ground, weather experts say. This was about the time a Tornado Warning was issued for southern Washington County.

Video provided to WISN 12 NEWS on Wednesday afternoon shows a funnel cloud in Monches, near the border of Waukesha and Washington counties.
