Waukesha County Food Pantry Reopens After Coronavirus Exposure

The pantry will operate at a limited capacity, but modified services will be available from 1-3 p.m. Monday to Wednesday.

WAUKESHA, WI— The FOOD Pantry Serving Waukesha County, 1301 Sentry Drive, has reopened after closing for several days due to coronavirus exposure.

"The FOOD Pantry volunteers, board members, and staff coordinated quickly to ensure service could continue the week of Nov.23," according to a Facebook post.

The pantry will operate at a limited capacity, but modified services will be from 1-3 p.m. Monday to Wednesday.

Last week the pantry announced on social media it was canceling all services until further notice. An announcement posted on the organization's Facebook post on Friday said:

"Unfortunately, we need to cancel all services until further notice. We apologize for the inconvenience but we take everyone's health as the highest priority and are taking precautions to keep our clients, our volunteers, and staff safe. We will be updating as frequently as we can, as we get new information."
