Waukesha County Looking For Help With Wildlife Monitoring
Retzer Nature Center is offering two free orientation workshops in February for people interested in helping.

WAUKESHA, WI – Waukesha officials are looking for new volunteers to conduct wetland monitoring this spring through the County Park System’s Conservation in the Parks Citizen Science Program.
Retzer Nature Center is offering two free orientation workshops in February for people interested in helping the county’s management of crucial wildlife habitats.
“These volunteers have an immense impact on our wetland conservation efforts,” Julia Robson, Waukesha County Conservation Biologist said in a news release. “Last year, they surveyed 43 different wetlands and documented over 20 species. The data they collect guides the management and improvement of these important natural areas.”
