WAUKESHA, WI — Waukesha is getting a patriotic flyover for the Fourth of July this year of the historical type.

The Commemorative Air Force is considered a "national flying museum" with more than 175 planes stationed across the U.S.

During the Fourth of July, many of the Commemorative Air Force units conduct flyovers across the U.S.

In Waukesha, if you look into the sky at about 7:10 p.m. planes from the Commemorative Air Force and the T-28 Trojan Horsemen take to the sky over Waukesha.

The North American T-28 Trojan is a single-engine propeller-driven aircraft that began service in 1949 as a training aircraft. It also saw action in the Vietnam War, employed by the North Vietnamese Air Force.
