Waukesha Sheriff K9 Fund Motorcycle Ride Info

WAUKESHA, WI — The Waukesha County Sheriff's Department is hosting a motorcycle ride in August to support the department's K9 units. The event will be run by the Waukesha Deputy Charity Association.
The Waukesha County Sheriff's Department K9 Unit relies on community donations and events like this Aug. 1 motorcycle ride, the event's webpage says.

The event includes a police escorted ride, a K9 demonstration, raffle prizes and an after-ride fundraiser at Wisconsin Harley-Davidson.
The ride will begin at the horseshoe lot at the Waukesha County Sheriff's Office at 515 W. Moreland Blvd. in Waukesha. Registration is at 9 a.m. followed by a 10 a.m. departure. Around 1p.m., the ride ends at Wisconsin Harley-Davidson for the fundraiser.

Here's the cost list:
- $30 per driver and $20 per passenger before May 29
- $35 per driver and $25 per passenger after May 29
- $10 per person for the after-ride fundraiser
The first 100 registered riders will get a ride pin. Riders who donate $150 or more have the cost waived.
All funds will benefit the Waukesha County Sheriff's Department K9 Unit.
Checks are payable to WDCA K-9 Fund.
