MILWAUKEE -- We got hit with overnight storms that caused all sorts of trouble in the area. Unfortunately, the gloominess continues throughout today as severe thunderstorms push through the area.
The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for our area for the bulk of today with severe thunderstorms, and a flash flood watch in effect.

This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of east central Wisconsin...South central Wisconsin and southeast Wisconsin.

Multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms with heavy rain are expected mainly north of a line stretching from Sheboygan to Juneau to Madison to mineral point. As a result, a flash flood watch has been posted for that area through Thursday.
Rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches will be common with locally 3 to 4 inches possible.
There is a marginal risk for severe thunderstorms over all of the area through tonight. The primary threat is large hail and damaging wind.

Showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 10 am. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. High near 79. South wind around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Tonight
A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 65. South wind around 5 mph becoming calm.
Thursday
A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 1pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 77. South wind around 5 mph.
