WEATHER ALERT: Severe Thunderstorm Watch in Effect
Strong line of thunderstorms is headed our way; is already responsible for knocking out power for 20,000 in Northern Wisconsin.

WISCONSIN -- First comes the heat, but now comes the rain.
The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm watch is in effect until 4:00 pm CDT for the following locations:
- Columbia
- Dodge
- Fond du lac
- Green lake
- Jefferson
- Marquette
- Milwaukee
- Ozaukee
- Sheboygan
- Washington
- Waukesha
A strong line of thunderstorms may affect much of southern
Wisconsin this morning. Damaging straight line winds is the main
Threat with these storms. A slight risk of severe thunderstorms
Has been predicted for southern Wisconsin.

According to a report this morning from the Journal Sentinel, more than 20,000 customers were without power in 250 separate outages in central and northern Wisconsin as a severe thunderstorm passed through the area Thursday morning, according to Wisconsin Public Service.
The storms are moving to the southeast and were entering northern Washington and Ozaukee Counties at 9:15 a.m.
