WEATHER ALERT: Wednesday Could Bring Hail, High Winds

Damaging winds and large hail are the primary threats...though a tornado will be possible close to the track of the low near the warm front.

The National Weather Service is predicting that strong storms will arrive around 7 a.m. and has the potential to produce hail and strong wind

Stronger storms are possible between 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. including the possibility of tornadoes.

A nearby low pressure and a passing warm front will bring several rounds of thunderstorms to southern Wisconsin Wednesday into Wednesday evening.

Some of the thunderstorms will be strong to severe with the best chance for severe storms Wednesday afternoon and evening.

There is a moderate risk of severe thunderstorms south and east of a line from Milwaukee to Madison to west of Monroe...and an enhanced risk of severe storms north of the moderate area and south of a line from near Reedsburg to Mayville to Port Washington...and a slight risk of severe thunderstorms to the north...including Fond du Lac...Sheboygan and Westfield.
