Where To Find Girl Scout Cookies In The Waukesha Area

MILWAUKEE, WI -- Girl Scouts of Wisconsin Southeast along with Girl Scouts across the nation will participate in National Girl Scout Cookie Weekend 2019, Feb. 22–24. Organizers say the Girl Scout Cookie Program is the largest annual investment in girls in the United States, which powers amazing experiences for girls as they learn invaluable entrepreneurial skills and make the world a better place.

All of the proceeds fund troop projects and experiences, as well as important programming at the local level, such as outdoor adventure and science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). And many Girl Scouts invest their earnings back into their communities, which means that consumers are not just purchasing delicious cookies—they’re also supporting the betterment of their communities and a bright future for girls.

Girl Scouts in southeastern Wisconsin have completed projects including installation of a wheelchair accessible garden bed at the Riveredge Nature Center, a children’s book program at the Brookfield Public Library, a mental illness awareness program targeting middle school students, an engineering conference for girls at the Milwaukee School of Engineering, and more.
