WAUKESHA, WI — Late last week, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) changed its guidance to say that fully vaccinated customers should no longer be required to wear masks while shopping indoors.
The CDC considers people to be "fully vaccinated" two weeks after their second dose in a two-dose series of Pfizer or Moderna COVID-19 vaccines or two weeks after a single-dose COVID-19 vaccine, like the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

While grocery stores and retailers have been left to decide for themselves if they want to keep mask requirements or not, they may not have to worry much longer.
