The National Weather Service says snow showers will push east into Wisconsin on Christmas morning. Will it stick?

MILWAUKEE, WI -- According to the National Weather Service, scattered light snow showers will develop over southwestern Wisconsin and spread to the east northeast overnight into Christmas morning. A few tenths of an inch of snow are possible which may produce a few slick spots on roadways.

Later this week, the National Weather Service is predicting that a strong storm system will affect the region Wednesday night into Friday night. There may be a mix of rain and snow Wednesday
night, with mainly rain expected Thursday into Thursday evening for southern Wisconsin. Rain may be locally heavy at times, which will result in rises of areas rivers and streams.
