Wisconsin Has Seen 28 Tornadoes In 2019; 2 This Week

The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook as another round of thunderstorms moves into the area.

MILWAUKEE, WI — The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook as another round of thunderstorms moves into the area Saturday afternoon.

There is a chance for thunderstorms today into this evening, the NWS says, though no severe weather is expected.

There will also continue to be minor to moderate flooding will continue on some rivers across southern Wisconsin.

There were two more tornadoes recorded in southern Wisconsin on Tuesday. The National Weather Service in Milwaukee determined that an EF0 tornado on the south side of Fort Atkinson and an EF1 tornado that tracked from Rome to Ottawa.

This brings the 2019 Wisconsin tornado count to 28 with 23 tornadoes being the annual average for Wisconsin.
