Woodman's Waukesha Store Shifts Mask Policy

WAUKESHA, WI—Woodman’s has updated its mask policy to "highly recommend" that those shopping in the stores wear a properly fitting face covering while fully vaccinated people can shop without a face covering — though even those people are encouraged to wear a mask, the store said.

The statement also said:

"We have continued to monitor the COVID-19 situation throughout the pandemic and have had an opportunity to review the most recent CDC updates regarding the use of masks indoors for fully vaccinated individuals. The well-being of our employees and our guests remains top priority.

To say the last 14 months has been a very unique, challenging and ever changing situation is an understatement. We have made all decisions with the health and safety of our teams and guests top of mind, allowing us to remain open and serve the communities we are proud to be a part of. While there are many opinions surrounding the situation and use of masks, we ask all individuals within our stores continue to be respectful of others.

We truly appreciate your patronage and support as we have worked through a challenging year like no other. We have gotten through this together, with support from both an amazing team of employees and you, our guests. "

Fully vaccinated people are now safely able to resume all activities without masks or physical distancing unless business, state or local rules state otherwise, according to guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
