1,200 Without Power In Cleveland Heights
Driving rain and howling winds hit Northeast Ohio on Sunday evening, leaving many in the community without electricity.

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH — Howling winds screamed across Northeast Ohio on Sunday evening, knocking out power to more than 1,200 FirstEnergy customers in Cleveland Heights.
As temperatures continue to drop, and driving rain drenches the region, energy company officials said power may not be restored until 7 a.m. on Monday, at the earliest. The majority of the city's outages are concentrated around Lee and Cedar roads, according to FirstEnergy's outages map.
Additional pockets of outages have popped up around Cleveland Heights, including several outages on Coventry Road, between Cedar and Euclid Heights Boulevard; and on side streets between S. Taylor Road and Warrensville Center Road.
