Police broke up a fight near Cumberland Pool and made three arrests

Police responded to a large fight near that started around 10:48 p.m. June 29.Police said when they arrived, several youth fled the area.

After the fight, a girl came into the police station and said she was attacked with a knife and a tree branch during the fight. She had cuts on her wrists and forearm and said that girls hit her in the face with the branch and their fists.

Police arrested a 17-year-old girl from Cleveland Heights and two 16-year-old girls from University Heights and charged them with felonious assault.

Boy shoots BB Gun during fight

Police responded to reports of a disturbance on the 3700 block of Grovesnor Road at 6:16 p.m. July 2. When police arrived, they said a large group of boys were fighting.

One had pulled out a BB gun and fired. Police arrested seven boys involved in the fight. A 14-year-old from Cleveland Heights, two 16-year-olds from Cleveland Heights, a 17-year-old from Cleveland Heights, a 12-year-old from South Euclid, a 16-year-old from South Euclid and a 16-year-old from East Cleveland were all charged with aggravated riot.
