4 Suspects Behind Multiple Cleveland-Area Carjackings Sought: FBI
Police departments have reported similar carjackings in Cleveland, Euclid, Willoughby, Cleveland Heights and other east side towns.
CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH — Four suspected carjackers are being sought by the FBI in Cleveland.
Nine similar carjackings have been reported in Cleveland and multiple east side suburbs, including Brooklyn, Cleveland Heights, East Cleveland, Euclid, and Willoughby. The carjackings started in April and have continued through May.
Four of the stolen vehicles have been recovered in East Cleveland, the FBI said.

The suspects use previously stolen cars in their carjackings. Victims have reported being thrown to the ground, having guns pointed at them and even shot. The suspects are all considered armed and dangerous, the FBI said.
Surveillance photos of the suspects were released by the FBI and are above this article. If anyone knows the identity of any of the suspects, they are asked to contact law enforcement. Reward money is available for information leading to the successful identification and prosecution of the individuals responsible.

The FBI said the following carjackings are being investigated by police:
- April 28 — Four men carjack someone in Cleveland's first district, near W. 117th and Bellaire
- May 12 — A 2013 Honda Civic is stolen from an East Cleveland resident
- May 13 —A suspect points a gun in a person's face and steals their 2020 Toyota. The carjacking took place near Triskett and W. 127th.
- May 14 — The suspects bumped a car in Willoughby and when the driver got out to check the damage, the suspects pointed a gun in her face and demanded "everything." They stole a 2017 Toyota Rav4.
- May 14 — Two women were getting into their car in Brooklyn when one of the suspects grabbed one woman by the hair and threw her to the ground. The suspects stole a Dodge Durango after flashing a gun.
- May 14 — A car was stolen from a home in Euclid. A handgun and long gun were inside the vehicle, the FBI said.
- May 15 — The suspects tried to carjack a person in Euclid. The driver resisted and was shot in the leg. The victim is still in critical condition, the FBI said.
- May 15 — At 2:37 a.m. a car was stolen in Cleveland Heights. During the theft, an off-duty police officer was shot at by the suspects. The officer was not hurt during the shooting.
- May 16 — The suspects attempted to carjack a person in the back of a hotel parking lot in Willoughby. Witnesses reported hearing gunshots but five people were seen fleeing the area in a gray sedan.
