Broadway Celebrations Coming To Cain Park

The Musical Theater Project is bringing two shows to Cleveland Heights that celebrate the best of Broadway.

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH — The Musical Theater Project (TMTP) will bring two shows celebrating Broadway to Cain Park this summer. The first production will debut July 17.

"For Good: The New Generation of Musicals, Vol. 4" will be performed on Wednesday, July 17. The show will feature music from Broadway smash hits like "Kinky Boots" and will connect the dots between classic shows and the hit productions of the 21st century.

A second TMTP production will be held Wednesday, August 7, when the company puts on "Just for Laughs: Comedy Songs From Musicals." That show will feature lives performances and video clips as the company explores the laugh-out-loud music that has been produced on Broadway over the past century.

Tickets for both events are $28 in advance and $31 at the door. Tickets can be purchased online at the TMTP website or on Ticketmaster.com. Tickets can also be purchased via the Cain Park Ticket Office, 216-371-3000.

The free shuttle service to Cain Park will run during both productions. The shuttle will run from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. and for one hour after the concert ends. The shuttle will not run during the performance. Individuals interested in taking the shuttle should park at Cleveland Heights City Hall, 40 Severance Circle.
