Celebrate 100 Years: Cleveland Heights Plans Centennial Events
Cleveland Heights turns 100-years-old in August. Celebrate the centennial the whole year.
CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH — City officials announced a slate of events to celebrate the centennial of Cleveland Heights.
“For the last century, the City of Cleveland Heights has often been revered for its diversity among everything from its residents and restaurants to its arts and architecture,” said Mayor Jason Stein. “We are proud to celebrate our rich history as we look to the next 100 years with a series of events throughout the year and invite the public to share their stories, as well.”
The Cleveland Heights Centennial Celebration is built around August 9, the date Cleveland Heights became an incorporated city. The event will be commemorated with a 6 foot tall greeting card signing and time capsule event. The city has also launched a microsite specifically for its centennial celebration at ClevelandHeights100.com.
