Christmas In Cleveland Heights: What's Closed, Trash Schedule
Trash and recycling will be delayed one day because of the holiday.

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH — With both Christmas and New Year's Day landing on Tuesdays, Heights residents may be wondering what's going to be open or closed in their town. Patch is here to help.
On Christmas Eve, the Community Center will close at 11:45 a.m. City Hall will shut down at noon. On Christmas, all municipal buildings, including the Community Center and the Cleveland Heights Municipal Court will be closed.
The city ice rink will close at 1 p.m. on New Year's Eve. All municipal buildings will be closed on New Year's Day, the city said.

Trash and recycling will be delayed one day because of both Christmas and New Year's Day. Here's the revised refuse collection schedule:
- Tuesday pickup will be on Wednesday
- Wednesday pickup will be on Thursday
- Thursday pickup will be on Friday
- Friday pickup will be on Saturday
All Cleveland Heights-University Heights Library branches will be closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

The Cleveland Heights-University Heights Schools will start winter break on Dec. 24 and classes will resume Jan. 7.
