Cleveland Heights Council Expected To Appoint New Member at Wednesday Meeting
Council has selected Janine Boyd to replace former member Phyllis Evans. She is expected to be sworn in at the regular council meeting Wednesday.

Cleveland Heights City Council is expected to officially appoint its at its regular meeting at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3, in City Hall.
The Monday meeting was moved in observance of the Jewish holiday Sukkot.
Boyd replaces former councilwoman Phyllis Evans, who resigned in May after serving on council for nearly 20 years.

Evans, just like Boyd, was appointed to the seat at first. And the woman Evans replaced was none other than Boyd's mother, Barbara Boyd.
Council selected Boyd out of 21 applicants (including Evans at first).
