Cleveland New Year's Eve: Where To Ring In 2018
Complementary wine, hot jazz and high energy funk will help bid adieu to 2017.

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH — Downtown Cleveland Heights will come alive on New Year's Eve with celebrations for all moods. Jazz music, dancing, complementary wine...all of it will be available on Dec. 31. But don't wait until the day of the festivities to plan your night of fun, because tickets to some events are already on sale.
Here's a list of events to get started with your "almost 2018" celebrations on December 31. The Cleveland Metroparks Zoo is hosting a family-friendly "Noon Year's Eve" event. The event will feature roaming costumed characters, a dance party and a countdown when the clock approaches noon. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., so the kiddies don't have to be up past bedtime.

The CLE Urban Winery is hosting its second annual customer appreciation party on New Year's Eve. The free event will feature a DJ, heavy appetizers, dancing from 10 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. and a complementary wine toast. While the event is free, space is limited. Register for the event by clicking here.
Nighttown will be hosting its New Year's Eve Spectacular with a variety of artists coming into the jazz club and tearing down the house until midnight. Dec. 31 will see performances from Dominick Farinacci, Janis Siegel and the Sammy Deleon Latin Jazz Sextet. Some of the events have sold out already. Tickets for the event range from $30 to $50. Local concert venue the Grog Shop will bring in Tropidelic to ring in the New Year. The band plays a mix of reggae, hip-hop and high energy funk. The band, who hail from Northeast Ohio, will be joined by three other musical acts throughout the night. That show will start at 9:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased here.
