Cleveland Heights Waives Parking Fees To Help Local Businesses
The governor banned dining in at restaurants, but carry-out services can continue. To encourage carry-out, the city is waiving parking fees.

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH — On Sunday afternoon, Gov. Mike DeWine ordered all bars and restaurants in Ohio to close. Carry-out and delivery services may continue but customers cannot dine-in. To aid impacted businesses, Cleveland Heights is waiving its parking fees.
Parking fees are waived immediately and will remain waived until further notice, a city official told Patch. The new policy applies to all streets, city lots and garages. Officials hope this will encourage residents to order take-out meals.
"Supporting our local businesses - merchants, restaurants, pubs, entertainment venues - is more important then ever. Call ahead to find out who will be open and providing services," the city said in a statement.
