Cleveland Heights Woman Killed In Shooting
The woman was shot while in East Cleveland, according to police reports.
CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH — A Cleveland Heights mother was killed in a shooting on Monday night.
Oceana Pierce, 25, one of her children and the father were shot while at a home in East Cleveland on Monday night. Police are still investigating the shooting and have made no arrests.
At 8:40 p.m., police found a bullet-riddled vehicle on Hayden Avenue and Superior Road. A father, child and Pierce were inside the car.

All three wounded people were rushed to University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center. Pierce was treated by doctors but died from her injuries on Monday night, the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's office said.
