Construction On Edgehill-Overlook Intersection Begins
The city is making improvements for pedestrians that pass through the area.
CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH — The intersection of Edgehill Road and Overlook Road will be under construction for two to three months, the city announced. The city said access to properties near the intersection will be maintained and there should be minimum impact for pedestrians and traffic.
Crews will be narrowing the intersection to improve the flow of traffic. Workers will also be making storm water mitigation improvements.
During the construction, crews will also be shortening crosswalks, installing new ADA compliant curb ramps, and improving the visibility of the crosswalks. The purpose of these changes is to improve pedestrian safety int he area.

The project is being funded by the City of Cleveland Heights and the Northeast Ohio Areawide Coordinating Agency's Transportation and Livable Communities Initiative.
While the city says there should be minimal impact for traffic during the construction, drivers should still approach the area with caution. Reduce your car's speed when approaching a work zone.
