Cleveland Heights residents may want to avoid the street for a few days.

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH — Construction season is in full swing in Northeast Ohio. But heavy rain held work off for a day in Cleveland Heights.

Crews will be starting work on Warrensville Center Road this week, the city announced. That could mean serious delays for drivers.

On Friday, crews will begin intermediate course paving on the same section of road. Drivers can again expect temporary lane closures and delays in traffic. The city is recommending commuters find a different route.
