Dance Company Bringing World Premieres To Cain Park

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH — Cleveland-based contemporary dance company GroundWorks DanceTheater will hold an intimate performance in Cain Park's Alma Theater this month.

The three-day show will premiere on July 19, with performances continuing through July 21. During GroundWorks' stay in Cleveland Heights, attendees can see world premieres from Chicago choreographer Robyn Mineko Williams and GroundWorks Artistic Director David Shimotakahara.

Tickets for the shows are $25 in advance and $28 at the door. Tickets can be purchased on Ticketmaster.com or through the Cain Park Ticket Office, 216-371-3000. Cain Park is located at 14591 Superior Road.

The free shuttle service will run during the performances, the city said. The shuttles will start at 6 p.m. and continue to ferry guests until 7 p.m. The shuttle will then resume running for one hour after the performance ends.

Those interested in utilizing the shuttle service should park at Cleveland Heights City Hall, 40 Severance Circle.
