Heights High Runners Headed To Indoor State Championships
Twelve Heights High student athletes will run for a state championship on Saturday.
CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH — The Heights High track team qualified for 11 events at the indoor state championships this year.
Heights High will send a total of 12 student athletes to the Ohio Indoor Finale at the Spire Institute on Satuday. That's nearly double the runners the team sent last year. Many of the athletes will compete in multiple events, the district confirmed.
“The fact that we doubled our qualifiers for the state championship really shows the direction of the program,” Coach Scott McNulty said.
