Hundreds Without Power Throughout Northeast Ohio
FirstEnergy says they expect to have power restored to residents by 7 a.m. on Wednesday.

Icy conditions and strong wind gusts have led to widespread power outages throughout Northeast Ohio, but have particularly impacted Cleveland's eastern suburbs.
Hundreds of FirstEnergy customers are currently without power in suburbs like Cleveland Heights, South Euclid, and Mayfield Heights. The company says that power may not be restored until 7 a.m. Wednesday morning.
While parts of the West Side are fairing better, some cities are dealing with widespread outages as well. Lakewood is one of those cities. Madison Avenue and Franklin Avenue may have up to 20 outages each. There are also reports of scattered outages throughout Bird Town.

Westlake could have more than 500 outages, focused mostly near Krebs and Bradley roads. Avon has at least 31 outages currently on FirstEnergy's outage map. Those areas are also expected to get power by 7 a.m. Wednesday.
Temperatures are expected to drop to the low 30s tonight. Rain and wind will continue to pound the region, making morning commutes difficult. Wind gusts are reportedly hitting 40 miles per hour in some areas.
