Labor Day 2017: What's Closed In Cleveland Heights
Find out when trash collection will be delayed to, what's closed and what's open, and more.

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH — Labor Day is Monday and several city buildings will be closed for the holiday. All city offices will be closed for the holiday. The Cleveland Heights Community Center and Cleveland Heights Municipal Court will also be closed that day.
The Cleveland Heights-University Heights School District will also be closed on Monday. So parents should make plans to keep children entertained somehow. Trash and recycling collection will be delayed by one day. The city released the following schedule for residents to take note of:

- Monday collection will be on Tuesday
- Tuesday collection will be on Wednesday
- Wednesday collection will be on Thursday
- Thursday collection will be on Friday
- Friday collection will be on Saturday
The Cleveland Heights City Council meeting on Monday will be moved to Sept. 5 at 7:30 p.m. The Cleveland Heights-University Heights Library branches will also be closed on Sept. 4 for the holiday.
