Local Entrepreneur Awarded Toastmaster of the Year

Awarded highest Toastmaster Honor

CLEVELAND, OHIO, For Immediate Release, December 19, 2017 — Cleveland Heights resident Deonna Moore Taylor was awarded Toastmaster of the Year at the District 10 Fall Conference, held at the Crowne Plaza Cleveland South on November 3, 2017.

This Toastmasters award recognizes a member whose educational accomplishments, service, dedication and enthusiasm are exceptional. The award is presented to only one or two Toastmasters from the more than 1,800 members in District 10. Deonna Moore Taylor is a Distinguished Toastmaster and Past District Governor. She is currently a member of the Top of the Town Advanced Club which meets in Bedford, Ohio. Moore Taylor says, "Being named District Toastmaster of the Year is truly one of the greatest honors of my life. I am forever grateful to the members and leaders in our district for believing in my ability to be an effective leader and communicator. I am proud to be a Toastmaster."

Immediate Past District Director, Dave Wiley presented the award to Moore Taylor for her accomplishments and contributions from July 1, 2016 to June 30, 2017. She organized the 2016 fall conference, assisted with the spring conference, created trainings and presented at two Toastmaster Leadership Institutes and also at the spring conference. Deonna Moore Taylor is the Chief Ambassador for the introduction of Pathways, the new Toastmasters educational program.
