Lock Your Cars: 'Numerous' Car Break-ins Reported
Cleveland Heights Police said it did not appear that the thieves forced their way into the cars.

At least seven residents reported car break-ins Sept. 29 in the 3000 block of Washington Boulevard.
Cleveland Heights Police said others were reported at the end of September on Somerton, Edgehill, Berkshire and Yorkshire.
Police said it did not appear that the thieves forced their way into the cars, and that residents probably left them unlocked.

"Remember to lock your vehicles, remove valuables such as cell phones, laptops, purses and GPS units from plain view," wrote the Cleveland Heights Police Department on its Facebook page. "If you have to leave valuables in your car, secure them in your trunk."
