Recent Cleveland Heights Killings Not Connected, City Says
Cleveland Heights officials said there has been an uptick in crime in several Northeast Ohio cities.

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH — Three people have been shot and killed in separate incidents in Cleveland Heights over the past two weeks. City officials believe the cases are unrelated.
On Sept. 12, Malik Moore, 23, was killed while walking down Oakdale Road. Then, on Wednesday, a 26-year-old man was shot to death in an apartment complex on Noble Road. Finally, on Saturday morning, a 24-year-old was killed in a drive-by shooting.
"The three incidents appear to not be connected. From what I’ve seen, there seems to be an uptick in crime in many cities. We are looking into that," a city spokesperson told Patch.
