Reminder: University Circle Construction Starts Monday

Crews will be resurfacing Mayfield Rd. in the Little Italy neighborhood and a portion of Chester Ave. near University Circle.

CLEVELAND, OH — Crews will be resurfacing Mayfield Road in the Little Italy neighborhood, and a portion of Chester Avenue near University Circle, starting May 14. There will be no street parking on Mayfield Road during this time, so visitors to Little Italy are being asked to use the RTA Rapid Station.

Mayfield Road, between Euclid Avenue and E. 126th Street, will only be open to westbound traffic during construction. Drivers going east will be detoured along Euclid Avenue and Superior Road and then back onto Mayfield.

Pedestrian access will be fully maintained during the project, ODOT said. There will be some very brief closures of curb ramps that need ADA upgrades.
