'Stupid F**cking Bird' Coming To Dobama In September
The show will kick-off the 60th Anniversary of Cleveland Heights' Dobama Theatre.

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH — The MacArthur Award-winning play "Stupid F**cking Bird" will kick-off the 60th Anniversary season of Dobama Theatre. The show will begin previews on September 4 and will run through September 29.
An irreverent play written by Aaron Posner, the show is a "sort of an adaptation" of Anton Chekhov's The Seagull. The production will highlight the conflict between generations and our constant search for true meaning.
Dobama described the play like this in a press release: "An aspiring young director rampages against the art created by his mother’s generation. A young actress wrestles with an aging Hollywood star for the affections of a renowned novelist. And everyone discovers just how disappointing love, art, and growing up can be. With original songs and witty banter, this season opener will tickle, tantalize, and invite you to consider how art, love, and revolution fuel our pursuit of happiness."
