Thanksgiving: Marc's, Heinen's, Target Hours In Cleveland Heights

If you haven't gotten your shopping done yet, you may want to head out now. Marc's and other stores will be closed Thursday.

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH — On Thanksgiving day, there's a lot that can go wrong. Maybe you forgot that your nephew is a vegetarian and need to find a tofurkey FAST; maybe you didn't buy enough pecans to cover the whole pie. Or maybe you just need an extra bottle of wine because Uncle Pete and Aunt Ginny are arguing about politics again.

There are a number of local grocery stores that will remain open on Thanksgiving Day for all your emergency needs - but there are some notable ones that will be closed. Additionally, the hours for the stores that will remain open will be truncated.

Here are the hours for the bigger ones around Cleveland Heights:

  • Giant Eagle (Lyndhurst) — 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Marc's — Closed
  • Whole Foods — 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Heinen's (Mayfield and Shaker Heights) — Closed
  • Zagara's Marketplace — 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.
  • Gordon Food Service (South Euclid) — Closed
  • Target (University Heights) 6 p.m. to midnight

Target will be re-opening on Black Friday at 6 a.m. The store will remain open until 11 p.m. Friday night.
