Thieves Punch Man, Steal His Hat

A man called and said five males assaulted him while he was walking in Coventry Village at about 2:30 a.m. Aug. 3.

Someone punched him in the nose and the group ran off with his hat, the victim reported. The man, who was walking near the 1900 block of Coventry Road when the robbery occurred, walked back to Liquor Lounge where he had spent the evening and called police.
